What is a "Bubble" (Truce Agreement) in Evony?

In Evony, a "bubble", also known as a Truce Agreement, is a protective shield you can activate over your city to prevent enemy players from attacking you. Once your city is bubbled, opponents cannot launch any offensive actions against you, making it one of the most essential defensive tools in the game.

Why Use a Bubble in Evony?

Evony is a competitive game where battles occur frequently as players fight to gain resources, defeat enemies, and increase their power. If your city is left unprotected, it can be attacked, leading to the loss of resources, troop damage, and setbacks in your growth. A bubble serves as your primary defense, allowing you to shield your city from attacks for a set duration, such as 8, 24 hours, or even 3 to 7 days.

The Importance of Bubbling During Killing Events (KE)

Killing Events (KE) are special events where players earn points by attacking and defeating others. These events are highly competitive, and many alliances and players aggressively seek targets to boost their scores. During KE, your city becomes a prime target, especially if you have large armies or valuable resources.

Here are key reasons why using a bubble during KE is essential:

  1. Protection from Attacks – Without a bubble, your city is exposed to attacks from players aiming to score points. Bubbling provides an immediate defense.
  2. Prevent Resource Loss – Attacks during KE can deplete your resources (food, wood, stone, ore). Losing these resources can significantly delay your growth and troop development.
  3. Preserve Your Army – Rebuilding your army after defeat is costly in time and resources. Bubbling ensures your troops are safe and prevents unnecessary losses.
  4. Strategic Peace – If you choose not to participate in KE, a bubble allows you to avoid the chaos and continue your progress without interference.

How to Use a Bubble (Truce Agreement)

Activating a bubble is simple and can be done in two main ways:

  1. Go to your inventory and find the Truce Agreement item.
  2. Select the duration you need (8 hours, 24 hours, or longer).
  3. Activate the Truce Agreement to shield your city from attacks.

OR

  1. Click on your fort.
  2. Select "City Buff."
  3. Choose "Truce Agreement."
  4. Select the desired duration (8 hours, 24 hours, 3 days, or 7 days). If you won’t be participating in KE, it’s recommended to use a 3-day Truce Agreement. Always keep at least 2500 gems in your inventory to activate a bubble when needed. Many new players suffer devastating losses because they fail to use this essential defense.
  5. Activate the Truce Agreement to protect your city.

Remember: Your bubble will expire after the designated time, so monitor it closely, especially during events like KE. You can always reapply a new Truce Agreement if needed.

Stay Safe, Stay Protected!

Using a bubble is a simple yet crucial strategy to protect your city and maintain your progress in Evony, particularly during Killing Events. Whether you are actively participating or wish to avoid the chaos, activating your Truce Agreement is essential.

Reminder: Choosing not to use a bubble during KE is a decision you make at your own risk. Evony is a PvP game, and part of the gameplay involves attacking and defending against other players, especially during competitive events like KE. If you leave your city unbubbled, you are signaling that you are participating in the event, and other players are free to attack you.

No one enjoys losing their hard-earned progress, but it’s crucial to take responsibility for your choices. The rule is simple: if you don’t bubble, you are open to being attacked. Protect your city and your investments by using a Truce Agreement!
